Anyone doing Prestwold in June ?

Just spoke to someone ( No idea who and not sure they knew who they were either ! :Rofl1: )

Need a fair few more before they will commit to allocating a club space I am afraid

This does seem to be something to do with Motorcaravaners Club just had the March mag through and they are taking bookings for £39.OO for Thursday until Monday with a further £2 of for subscribing to MMM, It says there is Circus workshops as well as all the music does sound like a excellent venue.

Yup.. And we have all paid £49.00

Must say that all in all I am starting to get fairly disillusioned with the whole motorhome scene..

Just looking at MCC Magazine now. Its an MCC Special event and there is a special price of £39 for MCC Members. s I am also a MMM Subscriber I would get a further £2 off making it £37.

Not sure if we will go or not as it is close to our Summer Holidays but possibly.

We have booked in and opted for the disabled area - just hope it's better than the area set aside for the disabled at Peterborough :Eeek: otherwise we will need 4Wheel Drive just for the wheelchair

great escape

depens on steve getting monday off i would love to go:Smile:

We are going - all booked and paid for - I understand that there is not going to be any club areas allocated - I was told that if you want to be with or near someone you have to arrive together.

Preswold

My wife and I are going but we booked through the MCC and it cost us £39 for the whole rally, There will be a section there for members of the MCC although we have never been to any of their rallies yet this should be a good one with Queen and the Bee Gee's playing there can not wait

I will be there!

Not booked yet. I will be going.

This show is for MCC to celebrate it's Golden Jubilee and will be Marshalled by MCC members, Warners have a large input to this .:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Our entrance ticket arrived this morning
According to the map, there are 3 general camping areas and 3 Disabled areas, as well as the MCC area. Could mean that the funsters will be pitched well apart:Sad:

Camping fields open from 10 am on Thursday, or from 8.30am on Friday.
No Cash Machine on site - so come prepared

yet this should be a good one with Queen and the Bee Gee's playing there can not wait

Neither of these are playing, the sites says 'the music of Queen/BeeGee's' etc, tribute bands are playing, not the genuine artists.

Glad about that - much as I love the music of Queen would be a shade worried if Freddie Mercury took the stage:Eeek::Eeek:

I have just trawled through the posts and I think this is a list of all who are going. Just wondering if we have enough to get an area for us all. Looks like 16 so far, would be nice to parked up close together is possible.
