Anyone booked ferry for Spain ?

I have changed my crossings until Sept 2022. However due to the increase in price and the change to the schedules, we have changed to Portsmouth St Malo instead with Commodore cabins. I think we will change our plans and probably head off into France now.

Portsmouth Santander..... Booked 22nd September..coming back before Xmas... then booked next trip 22 March coming back June.. this Brexit lark is easy... lol

Dog friendly cabin availability decided our dates for us Portsmouth to Santander. Dec 6 - early (can’t remember) March. Plan to spend a few weeks around Benidorm before heading South. Any recommendations for Benidorm sites would be welcome. :giggle:

Plenty choice around Benidorm. We use Villasol which is on the outskirts but easily accessible to everything you'll need.

Can I just say, those booking return tickets over 80 days after you left are cutting very close to the bone.

It only needs one little thing to go wrong, a storm, a ship breakdown, a mechanical problem on your motorhome, a bit of Delhi Belly, a flat tyre and you could then miss the return by a few hours or a few days.

This could then see you banned from the EU &/or Schengen for several years for overstaying your visa, in addition you will get a fine, and you will have problems getting into other countries such as the USA.

Frankly, for the sake of a few extra days, it's not worth the risk.
(We have booked our 2022 trip for 60 days, we can always extend it by a couple of weeks if we want to)

Hi 10days leeway seems plenty to me even if you had to drive home vi calias Portugal to calias 3 days
I'd agree, 10 days is enough of a leeway, it's those that are at 85 days, or even 88 days that only need one little problem, and they potentially enter a world of trouble.

Racho is our choice. Allows dogs bus stop immediately outside.

We go to La Torreta. Last I looked into it it was cheaper too. Plus it's on the nice road into town. Ann doesn't like the road Villasol is on at night.

Booked for this year 25 august return in October. Also booked similar dates for next year otherwise all pet cabins have gone and always book as soon as timetables come out :WelcomeFlag: :clap2:So hope all is well this year

Hi depends what you want but La Torreta is probably the closest to the bars & a mas y mas supermarket just over the road also to the beach front cheers Rod

I've booked Dunkirk to Dover for early July. :giggler: with flexi £151 ,Dearer than usual but they throw in meals so I suppose that's a saving.:giggle:
its still cheaper than across the channel and drive through France,
If you use toll roads even then I can't see it? As above actual fare is 101 .Here to Dunkirk 1250miles & change from 150€ for diesel

I’ve just re-booked 6 crossings to Spain for about the 6th time.

I think one of the tickets is version 17

here is another View attachment 492564
