Hooks House Farm Campsite, Robin Hoods Bay nr Whitby.
Spectacular views, EHU etc. Bus stop for Whitby and Scarborough at the gate.
Yes, we were there a month or so ago, you can choose EHU or not and pay less, as we did. Showers good and hot but there has been a sqeezing of available space to fit and the area to get dry/dressed in was impossible! They provide sturdy wooden levellers !

Low Farm is lovely campsite, 15 minute walk in to Thorton Le Dale, with access to Dalby Forest. Toilets, showers, no EHU.

Can't be 100% but I think £16.00 certainly below £20.
The owners daughter brings a mobile pizza oven on a saturday, there's a couple of decent pubs in Thornton Le Dale, plus a bakery.

Thanks again
Ive opted for filey brigg £124+£20 for awning(lets hope its not raining)just for my practise run
Ive not been in it and had it a year when i took it to get resealed i snapped the electric docket on the towbar just trying to plug it in(awkward things)
Im not keen on towing i much prefer the motorhome way but altho am now retired still have commitments ,at least we wont be sleeping in van cos fridge is leeking gas lol

Don’t wish to be noisy, but if you are a senior, CCC will give you discount if you notify them that you are senior.😃

Don't need to go to Robin Hoods Bay for the fish and chips. The Brown Room in Filey is one of the best to go to in Yorkshire. Also the cafe on the country park at the entrance to the campsite is top notch. Food, coffee and cakes there are gorgeous.

We love Filey Brigg, Filey town centre is a 15 min walk and it’s packed with great little pubs, bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and even shoe shops for the ladies 😉👍.

The site cafe is great as well and def recommend the food 👍

Are they letting Coachbuilts (motorhomes) on now?, as we used to go regular with a PVC (camper) but when ringing up to book they said no, so gave up about 8 yrs ago

Between newcastle and the wash please
Abbey View CL, Aislaby, North Yorkshire. It’s a lovely 5 van CL with amazing views across to Whitby Abbey and the sea. We were there in May. There is a bus that passes the CL which takes you to Whitby in less than 15 minutes. We believe the local pub does good food, but we bbq’d whilst we were there. I think it’s £18 per night. Would definitely stay there again, if in the area.

P.S. Does have EHU, but no toilet blocks or showers, but we have our own on board facilities, which we prefer anyway.

We like Marshland Alpacas in New Holland, Lincolnshire. It’s a small site but has 4 hard standings, EHU and new (this year) male and female toilet blocks and showers.

The local village is the pits, though the cafe by the railway station is worth patronising, the Chinese not so (IMHO). The railway station is a 7 or 8 min walk from the site, train runs every hour to Bridlington (£4 return) on the coast and Barrow on Humber in the other direction.

You can feed the Alpacas every morning!
