Any south Wales recommendations or places to avoid.

If you like cities, there is a city centre campsite in Cardiff.

Not cheap but so well located.
agree - but take care with cycles - they often get stolen there.

Cardiff site is easy enough to get to, castle and parks are good. Some interesting arcades with independent shops. Bay Area good for a stroll and the white water rafting is fun. Can take a water taxi from castle to bay.

Personally think Wales is more about countryside though - so Pembrokeshire, Gower, Brecon or central.

I stayed two days here last year. Close to Llanelli but no too close, quite, beautiful & if you are into fishing, billy bonus

Bargoed farm camp site. Quiet with your own private undercover hot tub on the pitch plus a nice restaurant and farm shop. Near Aberaeron so nice to visit for retail therapy if the site is too quiet.

I'm in Gower at the minute and must say it is beautiful. Fantastic beaches and the sun is shining.
CL Site with a view of the sea.
Loving it.

Great cl at Rhossili, access directly to the coastal path and walk ong to the beautiful beach.
Turning into the cl is tight but OK with care.

We stayed at trefalen Farm. cliff top site above a beautiful beach and good walks around the lily ponds up to bosherton
