What do I do to remove it
It's saying don't shut down ,call Microsoft support,possible identity theft ,finance etc
it's Trojan spyware ads.fiancetrack(2).dll

I am sorry only just seen this. I am sorry but I know absolutely nothing about Chrome books. They are based on the Linux kernel but then have a big front end applied that is neither Linux nor windows.

If they don't provide a front end interface to change something then I suspect due to them being fairly locked down you may not have much joy.

Just re-read your post. Honestly for something that old I would suggest just using wifi and buy a cheap mifi router. Just a thought. You will be exchanging £'s for stress/frustration and time saved.
