Another Gas Problem- Adria

It will be this one underneath the truck by the tank. It should be 30MB as stated. Just check the pressure from it first before condemning it

30MB! Good data transfer rate that, 30 mega bytes. Or did you mean 30 mbar (30 milli bar)?
Apologies for being a smartass, but couldn't resist, being the pedant that I am. Capital M stands for mega, or millions. Small m stands for milli, or one thousand of whatever unit. Capital B used for bytes and pressure is measured in bar.

Having had 3 (yes three!) Truma regulators fail I have now opted for a Cavagna regulator. £29 from Autogas 2000. Since fitting this, no problem.

Smart arse does come to mind really...........that side.........Being pedantic you may well have been so...Enjoy it at my expense....I have really big shoulders so it can be carried with ease i'm sure
As mentioned before hand.......always learning ;)(y)

Hi it's not an Adria issue it's definitely low pressure caused by a blockage in either the regulator or hose ,propane gas is a by product of oil refinery and contains a tarry substance which will clog up both regulator and hose I change mines every2 years after it happened the first time as we were in the very north of Scotland stuck with out gas.,

I meant to add .. full gas bottle and hob cover up both work independently
Sounds very much like low pressure or a faulty regulator, other factors could be too cold for butane, but I’d be inclined to let the dealer sort it out if still under warranty, it’s not an acceptable situation.

I've got an Adria Vision & had to change my secumotion regulator as well.
I had an Adria coral new in 2005 and had the same regulator for over 7 years with no problems.

as has already been said by others its nowt T do with Adria its the poor quality regulators that some manufactures supply coupled with poor positioning relative the the gas bottle.

the regulator needs to to in such a position as to allow any residue in the gas to drain back to the cylinder

Yes, I agree. The caravan we had prior to this had regulator problems (truma) & we had to change two within 18th months. It wasn't fitted in the best position.

I wasn't suggesting it was an Adria problem, just commenting that I had to get the secumotion regulator changed on the mh👍

Thanks for the clarification, I wasn't aware of that and wondered how you knew whether it was Mega or milli etc, makes sense now.

Or, being really pedantic, M is 1024 x 1024 as the K in data isn't the same as the K in length......

Could it be the burner control unit? I had to change it on my adria. Mine was a fridge problem, but I'm guessing it controls all your gas burners (I could be wrong though). It's an easy fix if it is. There's a thread on here somewhere. If you search for fridge problem or burner control unit it might pop up.

Edit: Here's the thread: https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...-on-gas-dometic-rmd-8505.175919/#post-3463285
