Our van, A Class Hymer, is now 5 years old and ready for a cam belt change. Graham has set himself the task of phoning round for a price.
In order to get a benchmark, his first call was to T. J. Vickers, Fiat main dealer in Telford,
'Between £2,000 and £3,000' !!!
Blimey! I know we're in inflationary times, but something tells me they don't want the job. 🤔

I used to live in your part of the world and used Westcountry Motorhomes a few times. They were always good, I recall they replaced a cambelt on my 2006 Ducato. However, it was a few years back and things change? The workshop is on the A38 going towards Bristol Airport (Lower Weare), not their showroom near Brent Knoll - you probably know them?

Yes, know the sales and servicing sites, but don’t know anyone who as used it recently and no personal knowledge of them.

My brother-in-law runs a Citroen works van, he can’t find anyone half decent to service it in the Weston area. Last van he had blew the engine after a ‘recommended‘ Independent was let loose on it. 🤷‍♂️

He takes his to the Citroen Dealership in Taunton…..pays a bloody fortune, but he’s got a van that works.
