I'm just starting the insurance merry-go-round so this is all good gen!
I'm beginning to think that all the insurers just quote semi-random quotes, so we all end up phoning multiple 0845 numbers every year... Another thread on here (security) estimated 200,000 motorhomes in the UK.
So, 200,000 owners making, say, 5 insurance calls each is a million calls, average call must be a good 10 minutes, THAT's where the buggers are making their money Ten Million Minutes a year on 0845 numbers!!

And now I need to join the queue...

I once phoned a Barclay's number from that site. It turned out to be the CEO's PA. Lucky or what?
She asked me how I got her number? I replied, "You sort out this credit card fiasco for me please, without putting me through to a call centre in India, and I'll tell you exactly where I got your number from." They were hounding me for non existing debt.
She sorted it there and then, and I obliged with the info she asked for.
