Done some digging into the policy that Axa are offering and this is a great example of how you need to read the small print. Appears Axa have a few motorhome insurance terms and conditions. The Appendix C they have quoted me on is only 93 day trips. Oh well it still looks like ERS

That is really strange. I wonder why the difference?

I received my renewal quote from AIB today and it has gone up over 300% compared with last year’s premium!!! (Up from £413.67 to £1387.86). This is despite me reducing the value of the moho by £5k and the expected annual mileage by 1k. The reason I was given is that Aviva, who I’m currently insured with, are no longer selling their insurance through brokers and so AIB had to go out to other firms for quotes. Still a staggering increase which I struggle to see a justification for given I’ve had no claims or points in the previous year. The guy from AIB ended the call by saying that he fully understood if I decided not to renew given the price!!
Comfort are the only Broker dealing with Aviva now. I left AIB for that reason.

Just got our renewal from LV, multi car cover, 2 cars plus Motorhome came in at £3 cheaper than last year. both cars are now cheaper but motorhome increased by £58 from £ 320.11 to £378.15 (2019 A class Burstner)
