And we’re off

BikerGraham Made the mistake of letting Mrs G have a Comador cabin ounce.
Will not go steerage now
Unloading is just a lottery depending on which deck you were put on.
We went over the day before you.
Heading for Germany but not made it out of NL yet.
Shouldn’t spoil them 😂😂

Where are you heading ?
We have two nights here and then going towards Dijon / Beaune area. So beautiful around there and the wine is great.
There's a nice little site at Chambeouf, just below Dijon.
Quiet, has pool and pizza bar.
Family run,

Heading for venimiglia for next Friday market then moving along the south of France slowly.

Not been to Belgium for over 20 years, never in the van though. Contemplating our first trip to France/Belgium next year.
I've heard somewhere (no idea where) that I may have trouble using my Visa card in Belgium and to carry cash, although no such problem in France. Can anyone confirm this? (y)

It is the Visa Debit card I was referring to, Apparently Maestro Debit card is more readily accepted (y)
Have a great trip Graham (y)

Ah sorry, misunderstood.

Not used the debit cards other than on the ferry, nonissue then but that would have been Dutch.

Hopefully your are sorted with it though 👍👍

Thanks, it’s our first and loving it so far 🥳🥳

So at Camping du lac kir in Dijon for a couple of days. Bit of city life.
Site is very busy and ended up with having our first night without hookup. Only 11 euros a night though 👍👍
Plus the pitch is under trees so very little getting to the solar panel. Should be fine for the two nights🤔🤔
Just sit outside in the dark with copious amounts of wine 😂😂🥳🥳

Lovely walk around the lake today.

Couple of questions though

Firstly not sure if I have too much coke in the fridge (photo to consider) 🤔🤔

Also do you leave you water heater on all the time when off grid or just switch on when needed ?

I never leave to water heater on unless I know I'm going to use it, it doesn't take long to heat up, just watch your gas (y)
