Where’s next? I’m missing the daily dining challenge ?

We made it! After a couple of sightseeing stops and a picnic lunch, we were finally getting close. The source is less than 4km off

and we could probably jump over it. What a long way from this...

Soon we were at the source. Well, the geographic source. The other two will have to wait for another time.

Then the fog descended and we had the worst afternoon and evening of our trip, with a massive foggy detour for a bike race and a stay in a car park in desperation, with a very average meal in almost the only open restaurant in town (it was a Monday).

The only highlight was finding some communal boules near the van and having a quick game.

But I’ll end here, apart from maybe a post of highs, lows and things we’d do differently. After a day of travel and continuous rain today, the weather is due to improve tomorrow.

Thanks to those who stuck with me, see you another time I hope.

Well done! I think the fog is a fair excuse for not climbing the Gerbier de Jonc - which you probably couldn't actually see! :)
