An appeal from two ladies

My friend Tony 2 and I are spending 3 weeks in Scotland in July so we may bump into each other.
We don't have a problem socialising even though we are "Two Grumpy Old Men.

Hi Girls, I am a single guy traveling with one of my dogs, normally go to local DA meets & with the Funster meet thrown in, I am off to Thetford in the east Anglia area. Should you venture south, or maybe when I retire next year & tour the country, it would be lovely to meet up & chat.
Enjoy the funsters meets & keep having fun.

Hi Mags,

Don't ever be shy talking to us, we're all people and it's our differences that make us interesting. Hope to meet you soon x

Hi to you both. Norman and I are just over the Forth - Dunfermline - so would love to meet up if we're ever nearby. Fairly new to motorhoming, but enjoying going to what 'meets' we can. Will be in France in May - Twin Lakes included then Kent show beginning of June. Hope to meet up in the future.

If you consider France as a possibility to run away for some hols then you'll be most welcome at my place .
You can also stop at Parc Verger campsite owned by Bob and Di a bit further up my location. They are at Champagnac la Rivière while I'm down south , next to Toulouse!
Any time....! Dog is welcome and has lots of space to run about!!

Amicalement

We are also two ladies travelling together. Mostly in France or Germany but other countries as well. Also have 2 spaniels. If you see us come and say Hi or if we see you we'll come and say Hi.
We are Rita and Judy with Lindiwe and Pippa the Springer Spaniels.

I don't think it matters who you travel with, this pastime of ours is a very sociable one especially with wine or gin in my hand. Alan & I will talk to anyone who want's to listen, sometimes it even makes sense!

Thank you Frankie. We love France and come over most years. We don't always make it to the south but hope to meet you sometime. :)

We'll look out for you. This year we're taking our two dogs with us over to France and Spain for the first time. Boo is a miniature poodle and Poppy is a cockapoo.

We are now suitably overwhelmed by everyone's great response to my wee post. This forum is brilliant. x

of course it is! :)

Flying back to Portugal in the morning to reunite with Howie and the dogs. Looking forward to seeing you at Chester and catching up.

damn hit post to quick. was going to say we have met all manner of very interesting people on our travels over the years. one couple that sticks in my mind is a couple of men travelling together. nothing odd of course about 2 men these days, it was just one was openly wearing a dress. beard, hairy legs and a dress.
it seemed everyone else on site was giving them a very wide berth. possibly embarrassed or worried they might catch something. I hate to see people treated like that so struck up a conversation with them. lovely people they were too and were quite used to being ignored or worse.
Think I know the guy in question, new him from Mcaravanners club, we got on with him very well, plumber by trade, great big rough hands and Josie advised him he was using too much make-up:)

Oops, forget to add, Mag52 looking forward to seeing you two when you manage to travel down to one of the 'fun' meets.
Vin & Josie

Woohoo! Looking forward to Chester more and more now! Ron and I bought our Motorhome in September and have only been away twice so far, but both times were Fun meets and it's fantastic! You meet such lovely people! Have just bought a flag pole today so look out for us at Chester, we will be flying a Gloucester Rugby flag with our Funster smiley one!
