Cancelling Amazon will make no difference. Phishing is just dangling bits of information which occasionally catches money. Holding the line makes no difference as the automated voice cuts the line if not responded to. They make huge amounts of money, actual millions of pounds so they will not stop until someone finds it worthwhile doing so. If a home phone can detect Phishing it cannot be beyond the wit of someone to clamp all automated calls. I bet we have a law that will not let us do that.
