Amazon Firestick in Europe?

I have a contract with unlimited data. Currently unlimited in the EU, but who knows what our current clowns will do to that?
If I fit a Firestick to my TV will I be able to access the normal programmes and catch-up in Europe using my phone as a hub? Signal or WiFi allowing of course.

I used a 3 unlimited data sim for iptv in France for a month in July and I. Got only 20gb data then after it ran out it cost £5 a day to get unlimited for the day

I've had 3 before & they throttled it abroad. Often where we go we don't get any réception at all though, hence wanting to download beforehand!
