Hi Rob. I've been considering using those aero brackets but need a bit more info. Perhaps you could advise if you've already received the product:

1) height from panel support ledge to underside of lip
2) material used for end cap - I suspect it might be plastic
3) guess the gap under panel is about 25mm ?

Because of the lip over the panel, it looks like the only way to remove the panel is to remove it sideways. Might just use the aero on the leading edge and use normal L shaped ali at the rear to allow removal.

The aero bracket looks a neat solution. As a belt & braces safety option I'm considering attaching a steel cable (short battery cable) between the panel and the Carthago longitudinal roof bar.
