We stayed at Bonterra Resort in March/April 2024 and absolutely loved it. Cycling, walking, bus routes, convenient shopping, etc. We are planning 5 weeks late September till early November and looking for a similar ACSI site on the costas. All ideas welcome. Thanks in advance.

Most of Oliva near Kiko park shuts down at the end of september, except weekends. the buses are erratic, its about a miles walk to oliva town, not the same opportunity for wandering out of a night for tapas and a drink. Beach is on your doorstep.
Having said that it is still in our top 20, but for convenience prefer bonterra.
Just reread the OP it is great for bikes nice cycle routes great market too.
Not sure we could do 5 weeks though, but then we don't do that long at Bonterra, longest was 4 weeks after john had his radiotherapy, was ideal for convalescence.
A bit further away but we also like Bulnoevo near Mazarron.

There are two other sites in benicassim. Both are in acsi. We have stayed at all three and would recommend camping tauro. It lacks some of the facilities of bonterra but is cheaper and in my view not so "English". It is well located for the beach (10 minutes walk)and consum supermarket and has an excellent restaurant next door.

Maybe not what you’re looking for (we disliked Bonterra Park so much we left after one night! So our tastes may well differ .) but we like Eden at Peniscola. Close to beach, and an attractive town. Not so good for cycle routes though - they used to run along the sea front but are no mainly no cycling so you’re often on a road, albeit with 20kmh limits. (Most of the Dutch cyclists seem to ignore the prohibition and still use the sea front.)
