Splitter Cables

Hi
Does anybody have a set of splitter cables EHU that they could bring with them??

It would enable us to provide 2 extra EHU on the end . Alan

Rugby Club Alnwick

Just visited the Rugby club,I Hope you are all up for making our own entertainment as its a little out of the way and basic??there is a bar in club, and shower room is shared ,electric hook ups are in a line along the hedge row on,all grass , just off side of pitch,cricket club field on the other side of hedge ,suppose it reflects this in the price we have paid. Alnwick a busy bustling little town is about a mile away

We didnt actually stay the night,as there was no one else on site ,so we moved over to the Railway INN At Acklington, 10ish miles away about 20 pitches all with electric on pub site ,new toilets shower's etc very clean £15.00 per night and lovely pub to boot :thumb::thumb: A highly recommended place to stop over.
Mind you as the name suggests ,you must expect the odd train passing.

Bad luck

Hi
Ive had some really bad luck this last week so I,m giving plenty notice to you all.

My in laws who are both in there Eighty's flooded there house this week end,the father in law had just been released for RNR from hospital as he has pneumonia,they sent him home for peace and quite believe it or not as they recon he would be better of at home , , he also has heart failure,what a night for him,couldn't even turn the stop cock of as he had no strength in him,so called me then the fire the fire brigade. .

The downstairs of the house has concrete floors so it filled up like a swimming pool ,resulting in a very badly damaged home.

We couldn't let the insurance company put them into a hotel as both there healths is failing badly,so we have moved them too our house. They have lived in there own home for over 51 years and at the moment they are very confused with ours and cant work anything out,so we wouldn't feel safe leaving them on there own.. We have been informed it could take up to 3 months before the repairs are done as apparently they cant start work because when the carpets were removed there were plastic tiles underneath ,and the glue used to bond them to the floor has a trace of asbestos ,so a specialist team has to be brought in to remove them ,then it has to be dried out completely stripped and redecorated. I am just letting you know the situation we are in at the moment and give you advance notice we might have to pull out at short notice due to the above situation, but we are desperately trying to make alternative arrangements but our family must come first . We are really looking forward to this meet so will try and make it but if we cant and let you down we are sorry.

Its a real headache at the moment but I think we have it under control now,its just the in laws feel we are passing them about,but we have sat them down and explained we have prior commitments. They are in there eighty's and I think they feel we should put everything on hold until there home is sorted. Anyway hopefully they will eventually see sense and reluctantly go to my wife's sister.<s>

Hi Thanks for the above ,to-date the meet is still on,but to be truthful my wife and I are struggling as my in-laws home is still not dry so repairs cannot be started for at least another 3 weeks,or until will receive a drying out certificate. Also they are now living with us permanently,as Ive already said they are both aged mid eightys and the father in law is currently unwell,so we both currently dont know whats happening tomorrow never mind next month . I really wouldn't mind you taking over,and you certainly wouldn't be stepping on anybodies toes.The list is up to date and itll just be a matter of cutting and pasting the list & collecting moneys on date and paying bill the warden. To be honest you would be doing me a great favor. My EHU can also be passed on to someone else and if we make it we will do without as we have loads of power anyway.

Hi Just a quick one ,I and my wife are ever so sorry we have had to drop out .

But as you can see the organizing of this weekend has been kindly taken over by Carl.

Just to confirm there has been 10 EHU booked ie: all electric points have been booked for the full weekend by us. At £8.00 per night. £16.00 per van inclusive for the Friday and Saturday nights. Also if a couple of people bring a Electric Splitters both ends can be utilized for EHU increasing it to 12.

As many Vans with none EHU as you wish can also attend at £6.00 per night BUT if more than 12 vans turn up this will be reduced to £5.00 per night,I was just going to sort this on the day with the warden. I really wish you all a great weekend and again apologize for having to drop out

oh: If we do manage to get something organized I will just turn up on the day But will not take up a EHU unless one is vacant. Dick & Barbara (DELLWOOD33) live local and have agreed to site vans as they arrive so there should be no problems what so ever.

If you haven't been to Northumberland before, you don't know what you're missing. If you have been to Northumberland before you do know what you're missing. Either way, it's an amazingly beautiful county so come on guys!
