Almost Disaster on out first trip....

once upon a time my wife had a magnifying glass on a stand she used for sowing and one day it magnified the sun from the roof of our conservatory and burnt a hole in the couch arm in there, we were lucky it was leather if it had been material i think it would have set on fire ?????

I'm not surprised either.
We had a local house burn down caused by a shaving mirror setting fire to the towels on the rack
