Hi all
How long does it take for your Aldi heating system to make your van toasty.?

It seem to take an eternity to get our van nice and warm… The fluid reservoir is at the correct level and there seem to be no airlocks in the system… just for the record we have a 2020 Hymer B690

Mines in between the two floors and blows across the front most pipework fins, works like a domestic kick space heater and helps throw heat forwards.

Our 9m tag doesn’t get warm on electric and it takes forever on gas as well as eating gas 6kg in 24hr in the depths of winter. I fitted a diesel heater now
Our van struggles to get hot on electric only in cold weather as well, yes it warms up but when it is below freezing outside it struggles, there is a lot of space to heat ;) far quicker and more efficient to use the heating side of the habitation air con as it is a heat pump so I use 2kw on the heating and then run the heat pump on the inverter.

That’s one thing that’s never been a problem in our 7.5m van getting it and keeping it warm (other than operator error in Germany a couple of years ago  ) it’s toasty🤗🤗

My 8M with Alde has 4 single & 4 double radiators plus underfloor heating. I don't turn it off - just set the daytime temperature I want, set the night time set-back temperature the leave it to do its thing. The engine heat exchanger works when travelling.
