Just want to recommend this site. Yes it’s non ACSI.
But at 22.95 euro, around £19 pn with electricity I think its good value.
Great pools, clean facilities showers, loos etc.
2km from Old Town but a cycle and walkway to get there.
Also a Bus outside every 30 mins. We used Ubers, even cheaper than the bus.
Staff very helpful and this time of year or outside of main season a good stay.
Beautiful beaches, some good Bars and Restaurants at reasonable prices.

If that's the site across the road from Alburferia Club site, they used to do a very good all in, Sunday Lunch including wine and beer. As you say, buses run regular from outside the gate AND if you go to the bus station, you can buy a reduced price book of 10 journeys.
Each journey covers any distance travelled within an hour duration, if you want to go further after and hour and you have a bookful, just use another ticket.

This was a few years ago before COVID. 🤔

Name of site please
Name of site is Camping Albuferia.
Not sure about roast dinners.
Bus was 2 euro to Old Town and the Marina which was after the Old Town.
Slight downhill walk to town and beaches from site about 25 mins. We caught the Uber back was under 4 euros.

That's the one. I not sure if one would call it a roast dinner but it was filling and value for money! 👍

did you book or just turn up

The sites okay… the showers are amazing!

The main problem is it’s too close to Albufeira… it’s the Portuguese equivalent of Benidorm! Albufeira is actually a Loverly place, just attracts the wrong kind of people and is full of louts and yobs!

10km from Albufeira is amazing, kind of like 10km from Benidorm is loverly too! 🤪
