Stayed there last year. Used the free Aire between cemetery and sewage plant, don’t worry, it was fine and neither impacted negatively. Green space around in park across the road for dog walking.

Nice walk into old town Albie, mostly pedestrian when you get there. Lots of independent shops and a large cathedral.

I’d go again.

There is an aire down by the river which was free last time we went there. Very nice town dominated by the cathedral.

This takes me back.
I worked in Albi in around 1990-2 and lived in the hotel on the main street where the market was held. I bet it's changed a bit.

We spent 2 weeks in Albi back in 2012, the worst 2 weeks of my life, mind you that could be because we were broken down on a garage forecourt being led a merry dance by the garage and the RAC

We overnighted officially in our 8m van on the car park just beside the Cathedral (which, incidentally, is still the biggest brick building in the world). You have to go down about 3 or 4 levels where there is an “aire” for half a dozen vans - and it was free! Nice shops and restaurants.
