Alarms

Operator error Mel:whistle2::whistle2:
That's the point I was making ... it's not Eddie's alarm that's got any issues, but if hubby forgets to isolate the internal sensors (which he occasionally does with our current alarm system, and previous ones) all hell would break loose if the dogs were in it. o_O Or of course at night when we're in it too! :oops:

We left the internal SIRENS off all the time on the odd occasion we took moos with us, if we forgot to turn off the internal SENSORS the sirens on the outside didn’t bother her much, the alarm was turned off in double quick time the once it did happen, but different dogs react differently.

Whilst we are on the subject of alarms. I have not got the Manual for the Sigma system (S30). Anyone out there got one they could scan and forward?. It works OK and I know the basics. But don`t have a Key code?. I believe there is a way to change the code? using the 2 Button operation device. but without the manual I cannot remember how? it is done (Factory Reset?).

Any help?

Hope you have woken up in a better mood. If this is how you treat someone who was supportive of your post I wonder how nasty you will be to somebody that disagrees.

I select the text I want to answer, as do many others on here. So please don't get so personal.

Hi @peter10

I'm sorry you seem to have taken offence at my posts.
Perhaps if you look at the change you made to the meaning and direction of my original post by selective quotation, youd understand my reasonable and neutral request not to use selective text posting. Anyone reading your may naturally assume that was the sole comment and therefore dismissive of all alarms

You responded with an "Easy Tiger" could see no reason for such comment and again opted for a selected text reply.

In an attempt to add some humour and by use of the run away emoji assumed you see the funny side of reference to certain organisations that use such techniques to change the sentiment of an article.

Perhaps we can discuss this sometime in the future over a pint

You won’t meet a nicer guy.

Sandra and I would thoroughly recommend you ask him to get the BBQ out and cook dinner as well. Does a lovely joint of pork (y)

@ MikeD & Peterc10.

I have no Idea how we ended up at cross purposes but am always up for a BBQ & pint.

Sadly think it may be far too long before any thoughts in that direction can be countenanced.
