We arrive from Newhaven around 10:30pm.
Would that be too late to bag a spot for the night at one of the two Dieppe Aires? Do they have a time criteria for late artivals?
Tia

Cann’t answer your question Tia, but can say I have seen motorhomes parked overnight outside the ferry terminal. The aire we have used is only a couple minutes down the road. Maybe you could try it first and beat a retreat to the ferry terminal if you cann’t get in? Hope you have a lovely holiday!

Both aires recently put their prices up to €18 per night so I would think you'll get a spot.

There are 2 x park ups a few kms away to the east of Hautot sur Mer, we've used both and they are fine for an overnight, both are listed on P4N...

And the free one at Belleville sur Mer. Perfect if arriving late or going early and no ferry noise.

We once used the pull in on the first roundabout from the terminal to the Quai de la Marne aire

We overnighted on the carrefour carpark in Dieppe, nice n peaceful, no one was bothered………after all it’s France not the UK 😀

Thanks everyone, I’m also arriving late into Dieppe in a couple of weeks time. I’m now spoilt for choice 🤗👍

Normally when we arrive there and need a 'berth' for the night we drive through the town centre and use the ample parking on the front that streatches along between the Aire and the steep incline to the castle. Last week when we arrived early for the ferry back we were sad to find that this whole area is now signed as 'under 2 m vehicles only' so that's no longer available. Shame as we planned a nice moule frite/fish soup lunch before sailing.
Happily the port is still available for a rest before driving on, and of course the other options mentioned here.

I believe ypu can park overnight at the Auchan hypermarket. Could someone confirm?

I would also like any info on alternatives. Ideally that feel safe and within walking distance of the quay-side resturants?
Of course it's France so there's lots of places you can park, just not always meeting this criteria.

BTW, the key bridge that allows easy and short access to the ferry port from the town is currently closed for a major refurb, so it's the 7 mile drag if travelling between those points....

Is it closed for pedestrians too?

I saw a few mohos parked there late evening on our last visit - we were filling with LPG prior to the overnight crossing. It’s a massive commercial centre with other stores, so plenty of space all round.
