Yep , another niggle today - the airbarg warning message has come in on our 2019 Ducato based moho.

Any tips for resetting or is it a trip to the garage again ££££££

?
:-)

You could try the ;

Disconnect the cab battery negative for 30 mins then reconnect trick, it might work “ if you are very lucky” also look for any trapped seat belt tensioner wires under the seats.

Apart from that you need the software unfortunately.

Good luck.🤞

Some people get lucky with the repair option but it's a chunk of the money for a new replacement.
Personally decided to bite the bullet and get a new one.

I had the same problem recently on my 2018 Fiat. A new unit replaced the faulty one in France and I got charged 430€.
I was told that the failing internal battery of the airbag unit damage the electronic. It only get charged when we drive. New ones are apparently better...

££ it is then :-(

Thanks for responses
A friend had his repaired last year by iirc Crash Data on his 2015 Hymer.
I can't remember the cost but think it was around £200.
It lasted just over 3 months before failing again just before his MOT so he had to cough up for a new one and the repair was basically a waste of money

Mine comes on after I've turned the seat around...there is a bunch of thin wires which like most things, respond to a jiggle...annoying for sure...

Another shout for Northern Autotech. Had mine repaired by them April 2022 for £180 (with the guy doing all the work cos I don’t have the software nor the knowledge to use it.) Still going strong. Hope I ain’t jinxed it now. 🤔😆

My ECU repaired by Northern Autotech , (I have no confidence in Crashdata) fault B0100-49 internal error, internal grounding contacts on PCB corroded, cleaned and fault cleared , still good 10,000 miles and 2 years later. Crashdata can't fix this issue and recommend a new unit.

I had the wiring under the seats not routed correctly on 2 consecutive motorhomes, turning the seats severed the wires to the seatbelt warning light's once the wires were repaired and the fault erased, the light went out.
