Airbag warning light on after 7 months storage :(

I was going to mention owners fiddling with the electrical systems too, but decided not to. However, @Riverbankannie has covered that quite eloquently whilst I was typing!

Unintentional fiddling, if any happened, just the cover removed.

I put in the new battery so hopefully issues will be solved. V.careful to put the terminals in thick plastic bags whilst off so nothing inadvertently touches anything else. I also took the fuse out of my solar system (glad I put that in) and phoned up my alarm manufacturers to get the proper disconnect sequence. Robustly jammed the negative terminal on last to ensure no shorting.

All is well after the change, only the clocks need a reset, no sign of the fault re-occurring so far
