Looking at having roof mounted air con installed does anyone have experience of dometic fresh jet 2200 ?

Do you know anyone who does this ? when I looked I drew a blank
Also depends on refridgerant used, many are banned now for environmental reasons
I have, as long as the refrigerant used is available, mine is on 134a.
Service Ports can be bought for a couple of pounds and brazed in, then vac out and refill, assuming there are no leaks of course, if there are then this can be found under vacuum, although if i suspect a leak i will test under pressure with nitrogen.
For older systems with no longer available refrigerants there are drop in replacements, but i have never found they work well, their cooling capacity is less than the original, this can get messy though, not all refrigerants are compatible with the oils used, and sometimes all the oil has to be purged from the system, new expansion valves fitted etc.
R134A is available at the mo, but it is being discontinued, if it hasn't already.
Believe it or not LPG can be used as a refrigerant gas, indeed, quite a few of the new up and coming refrigerants are flammable, not to the tune of LPG but flammable nonetheless.
I would have thought any decent HVAC engineers would re-gas and repair.
