Aged motor-homer seeks fun lady companion- are you there?

Unbelievable... so many people with nothing better to do than post- 32 in 24 hours still... it is MoHo fun after all! Royal Mail should be on here recruiting. Fun ladies are a wee bit shy so I understand the lack of responses and- I'm a patient chap and I'm in it for the long haul.

Not shy at all, just got to wait until hubby goes out!

I'd be interested in such a trip, except that I too would rather know my potential travel companion a bit better first.
I'm too old (or too long single) to be interested in romance, but definitely love travel. I speak French assez bien pour les vacances. . . I'll post my own thread sometime . :D

Roddy good luck with your search, an ad with I have the leathers have you got the bike led John to me, didn't put that i had a motorhome as i thought it would put folk off 🤣
p.s. I did get a few, very few sensible replies, but that was on a now defunct website.

There are lots of single men and single ladies on fun but not that many seem to get together even for trips. If a single lady/man has a motorhome,( the majority of members do on here) why would they want to share/ drive for someone else? :reel:

assez bien pour les vacances. . .
Well, at least you can come to my place and train a bit here.
I used to teach French as a foreign language at Middlesbrough Schools (Saint Georges school which doesn't exist anymore and Stainsby School /Middlesbrough 6th form college/ Middlesbrough University). Great memories!

For company? I'm more than capable of travelling on my own, but it has a strange feeling to it. A trip, pretty much anywhere, is enhanced by having an interested party with you. I can think of a few more reasons that aren't particularly applicable in my case, such as, someone to share driving with, and or chores or costs; someone who speaks the local language, or knows the area well.
I'd certainly be amenable to having a (suitably compatible) person tag along, and the op obviously is too.

Do you fancy a trip up to Aberdeen then? :imoutahere:

Merci pour l'invitation! :)
I'm planning a trip to Portugal next year, and as I have friends I want to visit in Villonge-dels-monts, I will be passing Toulouse, not once, but twice on the way! (Assuming ZFE's don't get too ridiculous.)

Scroll down to the map, then look on the right ;
Cité de l'espace
, Rocade Est , Balma Gramont (A being the metro )
No problem at all. I live in Balma

Note to the OP @Roddy : Nice post indeed! Don't take any notice of what funsters might say, and just carry on, I'm sure a nice woman will come along and give you the answer you're waiting for! Amicalement
Frankie
Not tempted are you Frankie? ::bigsmile:
