Good Morning
We are going on a trip to explore the Romantic Road in Germany in September. Once we get to Fussen we plan to go into Switzerland and come back home through France via Limoges.
Can anyone recommend any places to visits to see and overnight stops as we wander through Switzerland. Looking at the road map I might leave Switzerland via Geneva area.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Happy travelling

John

We did this return in September.
Have a look at Chur entry is a bit uninspiring through an industrial estate but location is fine. Nice town to wander around.
After that we stayed at Camping Breithorn which is in Stecheberg up the valley from Lauterbrunnen. Have a look at the new Schilthorn Cable Car and Reichenbach Falls.
In Fussen we stayed at the Stellplatz by Aldi and Lidl cant think of name but can find it. It's only small but has an excellent Thai just alongside.

Fussen was Wohnmobilpark Fussen.
You need to ring and book a place on the day.
We had snow when there in September.
Would suggest Innsbruck after, via Fern Pass

Mouthe has an excellent fromagerie and aire. We saw a queue outside it one day and stopped. Comte is the cheese they make.
You have the cascades du herrison which are always worth a stop and stayover (see my journals) https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/journals/categories/continental-tours.77/map unless it hasnt rained for a month and when dropping down this spot is a great picnic spot with the lake and Mt Blanc in view https://www.google.com/maps/place/Belvédère+du+Pailly/@46.3590748,6.025319,105m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m15!1m8!3m7!1s0x478dab8d7ae309a1:0x75a07678009d3b58!2s25240+Mouthe,+France!3b1!8m2!3d46.7100859!4d6.192738!16s/m/03mhbng!3m5!1s0x478cf54ce01c9e89:0x471cefc96ef13557!8m2!3d46.3589874!4d6.0257077!16s/g/11bw473qh4?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDEyNy4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw==
