Just back from first trip in new (to me) van.

Puzzled be the 12v display unit. In last van the water tap icon switch toggled the water pump ON/OFF
In the Adria, I have not found a way to leave the 12v on overnight, without being woken up by random water pump activations.
Should the pump toggle on off ?

Also the power side, after pressing the buttons, reverts to showing the 'Amps' display.

I noticed that over a few days, the Amps seemed to have one less segment lit, till none were lit - then they gradually came on again - is that a normal feature ? What might be going on ?
.

Random water pump activations may indicate a leak in the system.
Adria use Reich Uniquick fittings which have been known to leak.
It should be possible to turn the pump off at the panel.
What panel have you got?

If the pump keeps pulsing occasionally you probably have a water leak. It shouldn't operate at all apart from when a tap is open.

What model of Adria and what year?

Yes, a leak is a fair shout. We had two on our Adria at joints. Behind the panel that houses the mixer tap in the shower. The other at the manifold of the truma heating system.

I'd agree with all the others about leaking Reich fittings causing the pump to run. You should be able to turn the pump off at the panel there is an icon for it.

By touching the tap icon on the control panel above the fridge/freezer either turns the pump on (icon green) or off (icon red). Don’t forget you have to have the light icon switched to green for anything 12v to operate.

You may be worth keeping the pump switched off most of the time as, each time it is repressurising, it means water has leaked somewhere internally.
Our leak on the shower mixer became aparre t when there was a small amount of water consistently in the shower tray.
With the heater it was only when we oticed a damp patch on the ground under the drivers door on a hot day in Zaragoza. To find the source I had to look with an inspection lamp behind the Truma heater.
I hope you find the leak quickly.

It could also be a frost valve passing water when closed so wouldn't be obvious.

either turns the pump on (icon green) or off (icon red).
I dont think I have seen the TAP icon go red - and had tried to turn the pump off several times

thats kinda what I wondered Lenny, it seems like water will eject from tap before pump starts - seems there must be something squeezing it to maintain the pressure. Then pump kicks in when pressure drops.

will try to show panel in photos

It was on hookup the whole time, but the 'AMPS' display went from 'max', down to 'not showing' and later gradually came back to
'max' with various random bits

Thanks for ideas/ places to check folks

I also wondered if a worn pump could allow pressure to leak/syphon back to the tank

wow - how did it get from Truma to drivers door . . . . .

that is the same panel as my Adria , to switch the pump off you simply press the button under the tap logo.

if that does not switch the pump off then there is a fault in your panel or wiring from there to the Electro bloc

Sorry Marauder. Mine has the same panel as described by Phil D below. The pump off positron shows the tap icon in orange and not red as I said earlier. Sorry for the confusion.

If its any consolation, on our previous Adria 2016 model we had the issue of the pump pulsating for a few seconds during the night, and never could identify a leak on the system. Quite different to the current 2019 model, had quite a few leaks and ended up changing most of the Reich fittings to John Guest ones.

Yep same here 2019 model many leaks from reich fittings a lot were replace to John guest ones under warranty. Had to make a copper manifold at rear of my van as was so fed up taking it back to dealership, now all good. It got to the point where if I heard the pump in the middle of the night I knew I was looking for the next leak in the morning😡

Sometimes after the batteries have been disconnected the water may not come on, there is a combination of touches that can correct this (I wish I could remember) and the words ON or OFF come onto the screen panel. If anyone knows them, please let me know.

I think you press the tap icon until epp appears then press fresh water, waste water then temp icons and on appears. Something like that

Thanks for info folks.

So I will be looking for leaks . . . .

Is there any indication ( or even a map ! ) to find location of pipe joints.

How many joints are there likely to be - anyone ?

I'd be very interested to see a photo of Bengbong's copper manifold idea construction.

Cheers
