One push-fit drain pipe from the MH kitchen sink has come adrift just before the grey tank.

It is a hardish plastic What is the correct adhesive to apply before pushing back together.

Since we are in Italy replies with chemical compound might be preferable to product brand names.

TIA

You could take a photograph of the pipe and show it to a building supply company or ideally the Italian equivalent of Plumbase.

But you may be able to bodge it with ductape if there is enough pipe visible. It won't have to hold any pressure.

Flo plast is for solvent weld pipes, push fit pipe is different, Flo plast won't work.
I would guess stikaflex or similar would do the job

Can you show us a picture? As Olley says, the plastic for push fit pipes isn't the same as pipes using solvent wheld. The push fit should fit back in the joint.

I did a load of this stuff at one time. Make sure the end of the pipe is as square as you can cut it. Clean off any swarf/burr bits. Rub the area to be glued on both the pipe and the fitting with wet and dry to get a good scratch key. Clean the area with a quick drying solvent to degrease the area. Apply the adhesive/cement to both parts then twist to make sue all bits are mated. You should see a bead of glue on the shoulder of the fitting. This is the sort of cement.

I've never had to use any adhesive on push fit pipes, as has already been said, make sure the pipe is clean & square at the end with no burrs.
If the pipe is too tightly pulled then you must put in a new longer pipe with a bit of slack built in (although not too much).
