Adding 24V Multiplus to Schaudt WA+EBL setup

I think the theory says that if a wire touches the chassis, the resulting fault current should be sufficient to blow the fuse. Which fuse is debatable. If you fit a 300A MRBF fuse on the battery terminal, then ideally that is the fuse that should blow if by any chance the main wire from that fuse shorts to the chassis.

However the reason for having the heavy cable back to ground in the first place is in case a cable gets shorted to the chassis anywhere. You have to wonder, if it's really so difficult to find a chassis ground point for a negative cable, exactly how likely is it that a positive cable will randomly short to the chassis? If you can find a likely candidate for a chassis point shorting to ground, then attach your negative chassis connection to it. If you really struggle to find one...

so, given that my plan is battery and inverter at the back of a coachbuilt's cupboard, no metal chassis or panel anywhere near, MRBF fuse on the battery terminal, very short cables battery to busbar to inverter -> don't worry about it, path via b2b cabling with cables 2,3,4 in 16mm 25mm will suffice?
