ACSI Camping Card: Anyone else having issues on App

Last night I opened my ACSI Camping Card app on my IPad and noticed there was an update needed for the country groups. The same was required on my IPhone app too!

Both seemed to take an age to update and on both devices the app seemed a bit unstable and kept shutting down. Today I tried the app on both devices and neither will load. The app opening cover page shows but doesn’t load and then closes.

Have restarted each device, but same problem!😩

Anyone else having similar issues with it?

Just checked and its working ok for me.

I noticed yesterday it took an eternity to load but did work after then, if a little jumpy or slow

Just loaded it again and it took ages to load, all the maps I suspect.

Yes updates needed for all my required maps. Working ok for me today. Maybe yesterday was a bad day for them or maybe for your signal/wifi? Try again?

Still an issue. Phoned ACSI and agreed to delete apps from iPhone and IPad, reset Password and reloaded maps. At point of reloading app on both devices it worked ok but when I closed the app on each device it reverted back to original issue - i.e. app opens to cover photo page, won’t load and then closes! Retried deleting apps and reloaded 4 times now but no change. All other apps on devices are fine and problem started from the maps update!

Another call to ACSI tomorrow I think!

Mine does that apart from the cover photo page you describe then starts to show the maps loading by giving a numerical text on the photo as it progresses and the whirling circle as it does. It takes some time to get to that stage, around 60 seconds, before the photo moves in to the normal screen.

Yes, mine did that and should it it but after the update it doesn’t load the maps and then closes. Got nowhere phoning ACSI and have since sent an email as requested to be passed on to their system people. Still waiting on a response!

Ita back working now maybe the server rebooting?

oh dear need to do ours in the next few days, had to phone ACSI last year, was so much easier when just the card, but then it was open to passing card round I suppose.
Not so many sites and many ACSI for much reduced periods.

You get the books, but you, i think, need to get the app to be able to use the card, you at least have to register it and i had problems with that last year.
That's odd, I've used my 2025 card quite a few times already this year without registering it and last year's card worked for me without registering as well. So, I've just looked at the information in the front of the ACSI book, part 1 and seen the statement that says the card should be registered to allow sites to scan the card to input your details. I'm glad you mentioned it as we are off on our travels again soon and would rather not face any confusion at site reception desks.

I set mine up on my new phone yesterday and downloaded all the maps. Following this thread, I logged in a few minutes ago to find out that I had been signed out, and after signing back in, found all my downloads had been deleted. I only resubscribed again a little while ago. I have always found their set up a bit amateurish. It looks like nothing has changed.

I find the app very slow & clunky compared to previous years. Frustrating to use!
