Hi
Does anyone know how to access the factory fitted reversing camera on my Auto Trail Apache 634, on a 2016 plate please?
It's gone weird and so I suspect it's the camera (ingress if water perhaps) rather than the monitor. I thought I'd see if I could fix/replace it myself ... Or know if there is another explanation.
See photos...
Many thanks, in anticipation

As far as I know you have to carefully cut through the sealant on the outer cover, our Comanche was th

Agree with Al and Val that’s the way to do it, I changed mine last year

Right, that makes sense. Sorry to bombard you with more questions.........
Once the sealant is cut, how easy then is it to actually get access to the camera?
Does the housing "unclip" somehow?
Did you swap the camera out with exactly the same unit ( if so, how did you get hold of that?)
Auto trail won't answer my emails asking for more details etc.
Can I use any camera off Amazon?

I know you probably can't answer exactly for my model but any info would be extremely useful.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi
Yes cut through the sealant and then very carefully prize off the panel the are a couple of spring clips
Once removed you have full access to the camera… when you replace ensure you get a camera with the same wiring connections we got ours from reversing cameras uk.com
The camera was about £70
