My safe tends to contain my house keys as I don't need them when away, and my 'UK' wallet which will normally have a small amount of cash in it. Not actually valuable but a bl**dy nuisance if you forgot where you put them. Oh and the dogs passports as only needed when coming back and of no value to anyone else.

off topic but here in Spain you are required to be in possession of the relevant passport /card for any dog you have with you. Mine , being spanish , has a credit sized card with full details on for use within Spain, but when I'm traveling to the Uk his passport is with me all the time.
