Just south of Ouazzane, Morocco at Motel RIF where you park around the pool

This really should be in the "out of your comfort zone" thread.
Alone, "not seen anyone for 10 days" wow! Do you have a satellite phone with you?
Hi Markman

Apart from 240 litres of water a satellite phone is the second most important piece of safety equipment

Last year we broke a rear leaf print in the Abu Huab chasing Elephants - the sat phone saved us

Is that the motel pool or a separate one for the campers?

Either way looks like nice spot, with no white pegs I assume
There are two pools, one for motorhomers, and one for the motel guests - they were just cleaning this one yesterday, albeit at their rate of progress suspect it will be a month before they finish lol 😂

Thanks for all the hugs guys. Dissapointingly crossing back to the dark side a month early, we'll be back. I am now the driver, navigator, left hand lookout, cook, washer up, dog walker waiter and nurse. Quickly finding out my forte is really only driver navigator, dog walker. But I'm in training. 😂

Nothing fancy to spectacular, but my first night (Tuesday) in our new to us motorhome. Phippins Farm near Burnham-on-Sea having just collected it from Highbridge Caravan Centre. Followed by a 400+ mile journey home in pretty horrible weather.
Planning our first local overnight/weekend away somewhere local next month.
Thanks to all here for the helpful advice and the accessories purchased in the Classified

I think it's dependent on what time you arrive. We arrived at 19.30 on Tuesday and it was rammed. And the drums were practicing until 23.00.

Having stayed in mula in Murcia during their drum fiesta the noise in Teruel is not too bad.(Especially if I remove my hearing aids 🤣)

Quite a few caravans on the site for winter, with awnings and groundsheets down. Must be all ruined.
It certainly looks that way. There will be an investigation to see why it was allowed to happen, much like the ongoing one in Valencia. The usual political shit throwing is going on as we speak, but heads will roll.

You know how it goes .. you wake up at home in the morning with no intention of going anywhere... and then it's 9pm and you happen to be 150 odd miles away parked by the river Wye in Tintern.

You're twelve months too late. I ended up paying €30 a night in Gelves during Feria week. If I pop back to Rossini's for a haircut I'll bear it in mind.
