A photo of your van camping last night

Nope they look forward to our return each year 😇😇😇
Just walked up the path and climbed a mountain and on the way back was surprised that the site has a fair few empty pitches🤔🤔
Plenty of English people for you to speak to and begs for snacks😂😂

Or Chinese if you fancy a change😁😁

Not surprised there is a few places, you’ve scared them all off like Jackd did at Obernai! They don’t like southern softees you know! Then again it could be the price, it has shot up since we last stayed there in June 19, we stay elsewhere now but we always see lots of empty pitches since it changed hands in 2020🤔

They did say to me it’s nice to have a quality van visit as they are trying to attract more sophisticated visitors, they normally have people from up North with rattling old vans that need fixing🤔🤔
No doubt they are trying to price out riff raff😂😂

Now hey, I resemble that remark 😂😂

Malvern CAMC site … not really my thing but having to hole up here for a few days to do family stuff. That said .. it’s actually a really nice spot but blooming pricey compared to our usual MO. Note I’m lined up to the pegs!

Is that part of a site, or a wiling spot? Should be in that area next week.
Part of the site, must have been 30 mh here last night, felt very safe and was quiet. Can’t moan at £8 which includes the return bus journey into Canterbury for up to 6 people plus driver😁

Great area and town - Hawes in Yorkshire Dales but not my favourite type of camping. CAMC site. They must have a monopoly on gravel chippings. Once they were all grass, then the added hard standing strips with grass either side, now you get a load of gravel with 4ft of grass. Bit like a carpark with facilities. Yes, they were choka block full too so some people like this.

The cynic in me thinks this cuts down on grass maintenance costs...............

CCC site next door not cheaper? Usually is. Have you visited the pub down the road at Hanley Swan? Now that is expensive!

Local VW rally that we've always supported even though its been a fair few year's since I had a vw on the road, but a chance to meet up with friends again
