Where is the Llangollen parking? We ended up at a campsite last time as we couldn't find anything.
It's TNR Outdoors, Berwyn Street, LL20 8AD. Strictly customers only between.9am & 5pm. £7 to park overnight, no facilities, so need to be self-contained. Cameras on the entrance, £100 fine for non-payment. If you arrive before they close at 5pm, just pay in the reception & register your vehicle reg with them. Need to be gone by 9am.

5 minute walk to Aldi, then on the river into town, takes about 10 mins.

If you're lucky, you might even see alpaca by the river 🤣 I have no clue where they came from.

There is a nice campsite on the East side of town about £30 if you don't mind paying..walking distance to town

Why go all that way and stay in a shorty car park?

A strange question that doesn't warrant much of a response other than because it suited our travel plans during that particular week and overnight stops in Llangollen are few & far between.
The Chapel Cafe car park by the viaduct is a grat stopover

Also mention ed that there is a campsite nearby.
It has lovely views and a river

Didn't realise you could stop over there, thanks
Britstop is free , but if you pay you get a voucher for the cafe . I can highly recommend the breakfast

Just had a look at a couple of recent reviews on Searchforsites and it seems they no longer give the discount on breakfast.

Has anybody stayed at the Sun Trevor, just outside Llangollen. Free overnight parking, if you buy a meal. We were there last summer just having a meal and noticed a few motorhomes parked up.

Not stayed, but it's on P4N with lots of good reviews for it.

Not like your favoured spot that judging by google maps is also home to alot of old containers and very close to a major trunk route.
Still its cheap1👍

Had a mediocre meal there last summer, car park didn't look very level.good campsite 1/2 mile west along the road.

Since this is a photo thread and photos have been a bit sparse recently, here is us last night visiting in law's in Bicester. Whole town was gridlocked due to the punters visiting Bicester Village, daft people buying stuff they don't need with money they haven't got to impress people they don't like! Or maybe that's just the grump in me emerging!
