Lots but slow learner.
What's Jungfrau Camping like? We were thinking Breithorn as a possibility in a few days time.
In my opinion it's a very good site ideally located. However some will deem it very expensive. I think i'm paying approx £63 p/n with 16amp.
I will add that i'm on the most expensive pitch, there are cheaper ones available.

Unless I’m mistaken, that’s a dog on the beach just beyond the sign that says dogs are banned from the beach.
Northernraider had better not go to Falmouth.
There's signs all around Cornwall saying no dogs on the beach ,but from what I've seen everyone rightfully ignores them.

The place we went for fish n chips the beach was full of dogs and signs lol.

I reckon there's over a million pointless signs in the UK.

gilbaro

We did Breithorn about 2 weeks ago, a nice little site with a bar and small shop, facilities are spotless and great showers. It’s about 300-400 mtrs further up river from Jungfrau which tbh looked lovely and a bit more onsite but double the price per night.

What did i say about snow. Actually the lowest temp i saw was 9c. I was cosy and warm in me gear.
The pic with the umbrellas is where i had lunch and where the turn off is to the glacier. Talking to 2 Germans who just came down on bikes said they couldn't get to the glacier as the snow was too bad, so i obviously didn't bother.
That and other pics are all on The Susten Pass. Weather was beautiful.
Furka and Grimsel tomorrow...............if it's not raining.
Love riding in Switzerland.

Only done Jungfrau so can't compare.
I/we like Jungfrau as it's a very short walk into the village, and it has 16amp, something we want.

One of the early model Westerly Centaurs. Bargain, even if you just stripped the fittings and sold them and the mast and scrapped the hull. If I was thirty years younger....too old now for grovelling around in bilges.

What a special ride today. Weather great, roads great, bike great.
Innerkirtchen to Grimsel pass, up and over, do a left in the village at the bottem then up and over The Furka pass to Realp. Turn around then do it all over again. Lovely packed lunch of paste butties (posh people call it pate) sat on the Furka.
Truly spectacular ride. If Carlsberg did beer then the Swiss did passes.
At the top of Grimsel the Bentleys were parked up. Bloke said there are 15 of the new models on test with jernos. What a shit job that must be eh, getting paid to test driving Bentleys. Give me scaffolding anyday.
Now the pic with my bike and another brownish colour with a lady on the back, mines the one on the right.
