A photo of the day thread

I went to the air museum in Dumfries today. First visit and nice to mooch around for a couple of hours.
lorger ran a meet there at few years ago, it's brilliant, looks as though there's been lots more done to the place.

Traveling day today, lunch in Hexham then onto the wilds of Northumberland... about 30 minutes after van pic it's lashing down and blowing a gale 😂...it's a dark sky area...well it certainly is with all the low cloud 😔

Suns out burning my old man knees and jolly lovely it is too, the view, not my knees.

Still in the field behind the pub, tables booked for 1900hrs and pies are on the menu 😋

Interesting. No double yellow lines and no-one has been stupid enough to park on the narrow road. This can't be in England.
No. The is Rue de L'Aumonerie, Verteuil, France. They have yellow kerbs not lines. The deep gully at the edges of the road to take away flash rain water means yellow lines would be too far into the road.

Trip out to Herstmonceux Castle. Plenty of room to park the jollybus and such a beautiful place to visit after parking so close in The Bulls Head gardens. It’s also walkable if you take the 1066 trail.

Gardens were lovely and a few doors for movan Joy too. Lovely line of ancient Sweet Chestnut trees as well.

Also saw my first Hummingbird Moth, which was truly beautiful 👍🏻

Just sitting and waiting to get into GDSF. Not normally at standstill as we normally creep in slowly but there’s queues waiting to get in and further queues on the ground while they park em up.

Did wonder if the silly prices would put people off, but looks more than ever 🙃

Kettles been on, got my brew and dunky biscuits so I’m well chilled. Got to love having a motorhome over the caravan (spit 😅😇).

Just wait Just smiffy if you jump ship 🤭🤣🤣

Great Dane Singing Festival?
If you’ve never been you’re missing out, as it’s pretty special and a great way to spend a few days, especially if you like cider 🍺
