Had a day out yesterday in Cartagena. What an amazing city!! From the very extensive Roman excavations through the centuries, the architecture is amazing. I have a kink in my neck from looking up! So gobsmacked forgot to take pictures most of the time. But here are a few....
The largest sailing yacht in the world, aptly named " Sailing Yacht A" for scale zoom into the car parked on the berth at the bow!

I think it is ugly myself but that might be a little green eye:censored:

Some of the old and new at the dockside...

An obelisk that the designer must have had nightmares about...

And a bit of Rodinesque sculpture that I had to get at the right angle for the sake of modesty!!

Certainly worth another visit before we move on from the area!! Loved it:D:D
No you were right enough that's one seriously ugly yacht...and I don't have green eye I wouldn't have that ...well I would if I could sell it and buy a nice one :p

Frensham ponds . National trust and no signs you can’t overnight. Pay and display machine smashed to bits . Crowded car park though with dog walkersView attachment 205858 View attachment 205855 View attachment 205854 View attachment 205852 View attachment 205853
Extremely local to me.
Frensham big pond has its barrier put over at night and they want daytime parking payment.
However the little pond has an area near to the A281 on Priory lane where you can park up but there will be a smell of cannabis there in the earlier part of the night. (And my mate owns the only house on the little pond and I may or may not BBQ round there occasionally)
However if I were going to stay around here then opposite The Barley Mow at Tilford is a magnificent little parking spot on the opposite side of the archetypal surrey village green (where they have filmed numerous times) and you can have a lovely pint (if you wish in there) and wake up to the beautiful part of the river wey. I would suggest not parking up there in the early part of a weekend in the summer as you are next to the village green where they play cricket. I have seen Tilford trying to bowl and I reckon I could knock them for 6 as you would be in cow corner !

Just thought I would mix things up a bit.

Taken in Betera near Valencia.

Not sure really. Looked like railings that had been angle grinded off at bottom.

I'm the type of person that will take a photo of a jobby with my back to Stirling Castle.

Yes weird!

Any chance you can go to Waddington and give 607 a once over, looking very dull and uncared for

Andy
Unfortunately no. As a gate guardian 607 is in MOD hands. Black Mike is in private hands with a lot of volunteers ( please don’t compare us with VTTS - we are very low rent)

Woke up in moreton in marsh this morning and was not expecting to see this
Oooop norf, that is a light dusting. To the soft southern shandy drinkers, that'll be 6' deep and a declaration of national disaster :)

What is it? I can't even work out the perspective. Is it a road or track with wonky bollards, but then what are the oval objects? Please tell! :)
Not sure really. Looked like railings that had been angle grinded off at bottom. I put camera on the ground to take the pic looking back along the street.

Ciao

As the song says " The weather outside is frightful" , doesn't matter so long as van is warm and the company is good. Really jealous believe it or not.
Enjoy the van .

Hello i thought you were looking at your picture , its not so nice now though :)

We're incognito as we left our Funster stickers on the old van :coolest: but we're on pitch 34.

We're waiting for the rain to clear the slippy slush away so we can venture into town for a pint - just the one though as it's a tad expensive down here!

I love being tucked up snug in the van when the weather's frightful.

We're loving the 'van so far - just watched a video on how the Truma heating works. Such luxury!

I always thought those lyrics were a bit dodgy, think millennials would call it date rape

Hope you've got a guitar with you.
howzabout:
The weather outside is frightful,
but the company here's delightful,
we've got gas in the Truma and it blows
let it snow let it snow let it snow.

Who needs Lennon and Mc Cartney:D.

For the first time in 7 years, we didn't bring any instruments of any size with us! You sing it, we'll hum along :-)
