A few pictures that some members may find useful. A little background first. Our Motorhome is 6 years old from new. In 2016 we had a problem with our fridge in that it stopped cooling whilst using gas. This was resolved by simply cleaning the flue and has been fine ever since. (the amount of soot and derbies that came out of the flue was significant. Since then we have used the fridge quite a lot on gas and in the last two weeks returned from a 4 month trip where the fridge was on gas for 115 days. I was of the view I should clean the flu, fit a new jet and replace the burner assy which had a minor fault that did not affect function but was niggling away at me and I decided to change it.
The following pictures are of the amount of soot found in the Flu. (Practically none. The large piece of Debris is coating from one of the cooling pipes). I could see no difference in the jet I took out compared with a new one. The new burner and jet fitted with blue flame showing below the igniter. Conclusion! Leave well alone! Clean the flue every 3-4 years if using a fair amount of gas. end of.

Still here for tonight...

As a Rufty Tufty, Off Site, Freeloader do folk think I should get out my insulated screwdriver and connect to the electricity?

Don't think it switches on until after dark though.

:) what I call man-photos. :)

Well, we got the bums rush from the campsite we had booked in Amboise because we were a tag axle! So moved on to Samur staying in the aire about 5ks from the town. There is a lot going on tomorrow being Bastille day, but the place looked nice earlier.
Cheers
Ed

Hi carol is that st Gabriel's national trust site looks idyllic ?

Yes it is its beautiful, but all the wild flowers get cut down the end of July, I believe early June is really good. We loved it, only £5 per person per night though a one track road to get there.
