Saw these in a local charity shop this morning

My parents bought us a "Taster Menu Meal" at the Harrow Inn, Little Bedwyn, Wiltshire. It was a Christmas present we only just got around to using. Because we don't like missing out on a weekend in Humberto we decided to pitch-up at Posterne (Camping in the Forest, Savernake Forest, on the outskirts of Marlborough) on Friday evening then drive into Little Bedwyn.

Here you can see Humberto, tucked away, whilst we walked to the Restaurant via the railway bridge.

There was a chap with a nice camera mounted to a tripod waiting for something......it was a Steam train he'd driven all morning to see. I sense he was a bit annoyed that I turned up and took a photo 30 seconds after arriving. Anyway the meal was superb, very "Masterchef".

After negotiating a few very narrow lanes and some appalling Wiltshire main roads (basically a series of huge pot-holes joined by thin strips of tarmac) we were back on the soggy campsite. Fortunately we don't need a 240V hookup so we got a hard-standing. Many didn't and there were several caravans stuck in mud. Humberto doesn't do mud very well...just as well we didn't have to park on swampy grass.

Another lovely weekend.... can't wait until April, for our first opportunity to get away for 2 weeks. I feel we've just about done Winter to death now. Finally we are arriving at campsites in daylight (just). We've earned out Motorhoming stripes I think. Time for some warmth (although we could still be following snow-ploughs in Scotland I suppose). Fortunately we are in France in July. Maybe then we can worry about sheltering from the sun and not the frost.

As always you can follow us at www.gohumberto.com

Hello all,

The odd Funsters may remember I had the new-to-me front seats fitted to my camper last month....

Today, the new furniture arrived (two of).

It took some time to have them made in this colour.

The colour is a closer match than it appears in the photo.
(Taken in conservatory)

I hope to have them fitted this weekend.
