im a not so newbie
Am I right in thinking they are Yamaha engines now ?
Steve and Denise

The engines were never the issue, they were Suzuki.

The sub frame on the 640 SM was known to have corrosion issues and the electrics were “interesting” 😉😊

I don’t know much about the new models but they look like style over substance.

I liked the rawness of my 640 once you’ve sorted the electrics all is good 👍
These new models seem to just follow a fad fashion and are over priced.

My bike just didn’t like Thetford 🤪😂

They’ve been producing from around 2018 and are good enough to keep a British Company employing British people in business through what has been a very turbulent period.👍

Just my opinion, stupidly overpriced.

Clearly not, enough people are buying them. You could make your accusation at many biking brands, for example, Ducati, Norton, Langen, etc. but it doesn’t mean that the product isn’t in demand (and worth the, often high, price being asked).
