Oh forgot in the excitement of missing the ferry that we did our usual mo of finding a random smallish French town and stopping for a menu de jour to break up the drive and make the big drive home feel like part of the holiday. We had time to do France over 3 days with no tolls and had this awesome lunch surrounded by lovely French people with friendly service.

Sorry just couldn't miss out putting up my last few food photos! Bon appetit!

That’s the beauty of doing no tolls is finding these little gems in little villages…

Also a big thank you for taking me on your cycling adventure. Things do appear to be breaking in the Wessex water area. Apparently I have had a delivery of bottled water, I am a vulnerable old git. Which is spooky as I’m parked up in the desert area of Almería. I just wish I was 15 years younger to tackle some of the tracks you took us all down.
