A message from Woodside Field CL

Annie can you also let the moles in the field know about the rule of six, there has to be loads of them to create all these hills. Anybody want a few for their garden?

Are you still keeping the ducks locked up?
Our chickens are ready to come outside

I sent mine next door!

Yep all the ducks geese and chickens are still locked up. So thankful that we made a really large pen. Although I was not so impressed every time it snowed and we had to urgently clear all the snow off the netting.

Hope you have your motorhomes ready to roll, when was the last time you checked your brakes?

Here at Woodside Field we have been busy, the field has been harrowed, rolled and cut several times already. We have walked round the field umpteen times collecting all the fallen branches and twigs, the last effort took a solid two days to sort out following the storms. We recently added Wi Fi, the chickens, ducks and geese are still locked away in quarantine but as always producing lovely eggs. Anybody who has visited us in the past will be aware of that little gem.

We will be open from the 12th April and look forward to seeing you all again shortly. If we are out of your reach, please make sure you visit some of the smaller 5 van only sites and especially the Motorhome Fun sites.

We will definitely come up in April for a trial night ....... since we last spoke have committed to “Rosie” a little pup and we want to introduce her to van life early on.

Did you get your puppy Annie if yes why haven't we had pictures yet?
Not yet - end of the month but coming on a home visit next week so just these fuzzy ones taken off a video to be going on with - difficult to tell apart :giggle: We have met in garden but they were little then. Only a couple of miles away and the most gorgeous laid back Mum. Dad a ginger cocker spaniel.

Quackers had you thought about adding your site to jims local guide?
See tab at top of page.

Would seem a good place since you can search on england and cl sites. So far just jims but would be handy to see more.

Not sure who else has a cl, but for us trying to find them it would be helpful.

“... Bird gatherings are still prohibited.”

How on earth is that enforced? No flocks of more than 6 birds allowed? 😄
Don't panic MajorClanger Molly has learnt to social distance, she is still in quarantine at the moment and can't wait to be released.

We still have gaps at the CL for April/May/June if anybody is looking for somewhere to go, not far from M4 Junction 18 (Bristol/Bath)

As soon as life allows. In the meantime, I love to read about your campsite, which once the world is back to normal will be sooooo popular with such leaders at the helm. X

Ha ha you recon on any being left by then. Make sure you stock up John and if the weather is good we are lighting the fire.

The CL was full up last weekend and empty this weekend, if anybody is stuck for somewhere to go you could have the whole place to yourself this weekend.

Not sure how many of you have spotted the news but we have another rally here in July, this is Clivefog first rally as chief so be gentle on him and his helpers.

And Riverbankannie has some good news for the reserves at the August rally which will be announced soon.

Enjoy the sunshine.

Hello Folks

Just had a cancellation for the weekend so if anybody is looking for somewhere to go we have space at our CL Woodside Field, only one space remains for the Bank Holiday weekend.
And we still have chicken, duck and goose eggs on sale if you need breakfast.

Hello Birthday Girl :birthday:
The Anniversary weekend is still on track.
But we do have availability before that at the CL if anybody is fed up with the large club site prices.

Good afternoon folks hope you are all well and enjoying the better weather, at last.
Any one fancy a free week stay at Woodside Field? However, you know what they say nothing in life is free, so what is the catch?
We have some wooden fencing that needs painting so an easy task, there also could be more opportunities for the right person especially if you like animals and could cope with geese, chickens and ducks etc.
I am not going to discuss much more in open forum so if you think this is something that might be of interest send us a PM.
