We had a click and collect from Morrison’s at Worksop. Had a few items missed substituted, sent back olives and quiche. No salad no panettone chocolate Christmas Tree, no beetroot . Still, what we didn’t get saved us thirty quid altogether.

I tried to get Milk & More to deliver, what a palaver! They wanted so much 'identification'! I have set up bank accounts easier than dealing with them, they kept asking for more and more information, some I just could not supply, having banking, council tax, and utilities etc. all online meant I did not have paper to show them, I think they even wanted to see my passport! I just gave up in the end. Its a shame, I wanted to cut down on the amount of plastic I buy.Totally get what you are saying about the deliveries, we have been fortunate in that over the years the Milkman has a 99.9% (for over 30 years) delivery before 7am. Milk and More took over the delivery services and I think they are conscious of the need for accuracy, no complaints from here, if we were getting late or missed deliveries it would be a different story. I feel sorry for the delivery guys as I know they are delivering between 2:30 -4:30 in the morning and do a great job.
we used to bunk off school round a girlfriends house first thing was to nick a bottle of milk so her mum didnt notice hers missing on a good day we would find a door stepped loaf of bread for toastDuxette has Milk'nMore deliveries. Except for the episode when local naughty lads were stealing milk deliveries from the doorstep in our area, (why??) the service has been excellent.
Strange we did not have this issue and the number of new customers that have has rocketed during lockdown. Not saying you have not had a bad experience but having always ways had our milk delivered it was not a hassle but that may be due to being an existing customer (they know who we were).I tried to get Milk & More to deliver, what a palaver! Same here. We live in the country so can’t just “nip out” to get something else so I like to see what the substitutions are and take it from there.I do decline some substitutes on the order but yesterday they substituted my 4 pints ordinary semi skimmed milk with organic and my 600ml double cream with 2 x 300 ml organic double cream. As they refund the difference in price, I prefer that to having no milk or cream at all for Christmas . I also got Sainsbury’s seeded wholemeal subsby Hovis seeded wholemeal. I left “allow substitutes” ticked for the Guiness as perhaps they could have sent bottles instead of cans. This is the first time since March that I have not had an acceptable substitute.
I hope it still fitted in the ovenMy Daughter ordered a turkey from Sainsbury’s - they didn’t have the size turkey she ordered and so they substituted it............with a bigger turkey (no additional charge)!!!!!
Sounds like there may be a lot of cheese on toast sarniesMy daughter ordered a selection of different cheeses to make up a cheeseboard. When the delivery arrived, they’d all been substituted for mature cheddar.
