Newbie motorhome
Hello all
I’m Roger and together with my wife, we have purchased our first motorhome after 20+ years of caravaning. Wanted to move away from towing.

We have a IH J7000 2007 based on VW T5 chassis and it’s all new to us. Looking forward to what it brings,

One of our concerns is what to use for transport when on site, with thienadhoc public transport in uk, whether we will miss the car, and not sure about electric bikes but open to ideas.

:HelloThere: And:WelcomeFlag:

Electric bikes are brilliant.

You motorhome comes with an engine. Just drive it wherever you want to go.

You will soon get the hang of where it will go - and where is not the best idea

And walking from the other side of the car park is no real problem.

And you will also learn very quickly that it can be just driven off site anytime - after only needing to unplug the EHU.

I have just electrified our existing favourite mountain / hybrids bikes using Swytch .

But we also walk and use local buses.

Not really practical in this case. But electric bikes are becoming more popular with motorhomers these days.

Isn't the op in a pvc. Just drive it wherever you want to go. Lots of people use one as their only vehicle. It's not like a caravan that you leave parked on a site.

Hi and welcome.
Much easier to use a panel van than a coach built with regards to parking.
We use electric bikes with our A Class.
Enjoy your travels.

Plan ahead and take enough supplies to last your stay, if you need anything urgently it's easy ( after practice ) to pack up and drive away. Remember to leave a pitch marker though.
Enjoy your new van.
