718 Welcome 3rd berth

Hi, we have recently bought a new 718 Welcome without the forward drop down bed. Lovely van and overall we're very happy, so far. There is a third berth that converts from the loung area but we can't work out how to do it! There is nothing helpful in the manual and the dealer isn't able to show us either. I will be going back and insisting they contact Chausson for instructions but I'm not holding my breath!

Can anyone help please?

We have a 717 which is the same, but I haven't even bothered trying to work out the jigsaw puzzle as it looks too complex! We had a 718 before and I seem to remember that there were a couple of little legs that slot into the back of the side seat rear cushion missing, that we now have on the 717?

Ok thanks for the reply. It looks like these 3rd beds are a bit of a mystery!

We have 717 as well , you lower the table and slide towards side seat(seat above gas bottles)and pull out side window seat base (where pump is) to create a flat base then adjust cushions to suit - doesn't look to comfortable tho !!
