RP Rebel on order
Exp
Newbie
I'm hoping to have enough funds to buy a PVC campervan in the next 6 months or so. I'm aiming for off grid capability & 4x4 on a 6m Merc base. Budget £120k.

The RP Rebel is perfect, but their order book is full. Due to illness, I'd prefer not to have to wait a year. Can anyone suggest other manufacturers please?

Requirements:
4x4, Off grid 3-5 days, Diesel heating, Elec condensing fridge, Lithium batts, gas cooking with small gas tank, multi cassette storage.
Layout:
Small table at front, seating & large table at rear, don't mind convertible beds. Nearside hab door.

Basically an RP that's made by someone else.

Its a Fiat Advert for the MoHo market, what I find interesting is that I started out wanting a Mercedes Chassis but settled on the Fiat, Totally get why people want Mercedes but having had the Fiat I would not now have the Mercedes as a PVC the Ducat just lends itself for a better user experience (In my opinion) based on its internal dimensions.
Well if it’s a factory product available with 9 speed auto, it’s on my list

I do love the look of those wheels and tyres. Rogue Alloys are doing 16” with the BFG tyres for less than £1200, plus £60 delivery.

Anything short of driving on tarmac and the Continental’s fitted to our van are rubbish. 🤷‍♂️

Bigger than you wanted and not a PVC but is available now unlike the long wait for RP and other top-end converters. It looks a off-road, off-grid beast. Seems to be in your budget: Knauss Tribal Limited Edition on a MAN AWD...?

I have no affiliation to seller just saw the Knauss in flesh before Christmas and then noticed your thread: <Broken link removed>
Thank you, but very few boxes ticked. Need a good seating area, 6m, plus a sensible rear overhang. That Knaus would have trouble on anything approaching offroad. Thanks for looking though.

The '4x4 Expedition' show van is made in collaboration with Tecnoform, the superior recreational vehicle furniture maker. The four-wheel drive system developed by Dangel and Olmedo, allows for body customisation. The Exhibition show van is a special configuration which will not be marketed.

A bit of information here,
