Wife has fallen for a newer Hymer MH which I admit does look very nice and ticks all the boxes
But it is a 4500kgs, apart from the licence problem, is this a good thing or bad thing?
It is also a 3 litre automatic, i assume "auto" must be a good thing but what about 3litre, I've never had a car that big!
Any comments most welcome!
She has booked us in to see it tommorrow!

Morrison’s for lpg… much cheaper than bottles…enjoy your new van 👍👍

Don't worry about the refillable lpg system, it's another bonus 👍

Look on YouTube on how to use the pump, and as Mr B says above, rock up to your nearest Morrisons and fill your system for £0.57 a litre, it's not motorhome gas, it's lpg

But didn't the seller show you how to use it?

no, and i've never seen one in the flesh before, I said I had 2 propane cylinders and he said these could also be used but I couldnt see any "connectors"in teh cupboard. Perhaps i'll get some "training" when i pick it up :-)

Look for the Autogas pump for lpg. We use phone apps to find a garage with an Autogas pump. FillLpg is best in the Uk and MyLpg is best in Europe.

Best thing we ever did getting a 4500kg van no worries about payload. Not really found any disadvantages.
The 3lt has a chain so no expensive belt change & it has bags of torque.
Mine's 5400kg, V6, automatic. Absolutely love it. What was the question? 😁

Different classification for the MOT class 4 for cars and class7 for vehicles over 3.5t I believe.
Check out Dave Newells post from March 2010
As far as I can tell it’s the same test after watching ours been done for the past five years. The problem I have is finding places that either have a pit or a ramp that lifts 5.5 tonne.
