4500 v 3500

Wife has fallen for a newer Hymer MH which I admit does look very nice and ticks all the boxes
But it is a 4500kgs, apart from the licence problem, is this a good thing or bad thing?
It is also a 3 litre automatic, i assume "auto" must be a good thing but what about 3litre, I've never had a car that big!
Any comments most welcome!
She has booked us in to see it tommorrow!

Don't worry about the refillable lpg system, it's another bonus

Look on YouTube on how to use the pump, and as Mr B says above, rock up to your nearest Morrisons and fill your system for £0.57 a litre, it's not motorhome gas, it's lpg

But didn't the seller show you how to use it?

no, and i've never seen one in the flesh before, I said I had 2 propane cylinders and he said these could also be used but I couldnt see any "connectors"in teh cupboard. Perhaps i'll get some "training" when i pick it up

Look for the Autogas pump for lpg. We use phone apps to find a garage with an Autogas pump. FillLpg is best in the Uk and MyLpg is best in Europe.

You fill up at the Autogas pump, plenty about, for the UK Filllpg & for Europe download the Mylpg.eu app.

Best thing we ever did getting a 4500kg van no worries about payload. Not really found any disadvantages.
The 3lt has a chain so no expensive belt change & it has bags of torque.

Mine's 5400kg, V6, automatic. Absolutely love it. What was the question?

Different classification for the MOT class 4 for cars and class7 for vehicles over 3.5t I believe.

As far as I can tell it’s the same test after watching ours been done for the past five years. The problem I have is finding places that either have a pit or a ramp that lifts 5.5 tonne.
